Altenew August 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi everyone! The August 2019 release by Altenew is live, and today I am really excited to be joining a blog hop to celebrate all the new, beautiful products! I have two cards for you and a video too, I hope you'll enjoy!

Before that, though, I wanted to let you know about a limited time offer! You can get a FREE August 2019 Release Mini Inspiration Guide with every order from the August 2019 Stamp/Die Release collection! Offer valid from 8/8/2019 - 8/10/2019 at 11:59 PM EDT. No code needed to enjoy this deal. Free gift will be automatically added to cart. While supplies last!

And now, let's have a look at today's projects.
For my first card I used the Wavy Roses stamp set and I did some watercoloring using the Tropical Fiesta Markers, also by Altenew.

To make the process a little faster, I heat embossed the images with clear embossing powder prior to coloring them. Once I was done coloring, I die cut everything with the coordinating dies.

I then cut some watercolor card to 5.25x4" and added a few droplets with the black paint in the Altenew watercolor palette, a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay pen and the Turquoise marker in the Tropical Fiesta set. I added some wavy lines with a Faber Castell fineliner and stamped the sentiment from the Just Because Builder stamp set.

I glued everything to a black A2 card base and added some Nuvo Drops in Ebony Black for a finishing touch. I do have a video tutorial for this card, but before that, I wanted to show you my second card for today.

For this one I used the Dot Art stamp set, which is a very cool set  full of graphic images. You can really play around a lot with it!

This card was really quick to put together - no coloring involved at all!
I just stamped a few of the designs on my card base, added a sentiment et voilà!

To spice things up a little, I trimmed my card base to 4x5.5" and layered it on a strip of black cardstock, and that finished off my second card.

As I mentioned, there is a video tutorial for you as well, showing how to create a watercolor card with the Altenew Wavy Roses stamp set. I hope you'll like it and, if you do, you can subscribe to my channel and share it with your crafty friends! They might like it too! :)

And now it's time to talk about giveaways! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 8/14/2019 for a chance to win.
