Night Sky with Distress Inks | Clean and Simple Fall Card feat Gerda Steiner Designs

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a card and a video I created with the Gerda Steiner Designs Foxes stamp set. This set was released during the summer and is full of cute images! You can get it from the Gerda Steiner Designs shop, where you will find also the coordinating dies.

For my card today I used one of the foxes and the owl in the set, and created a clean and simple card. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen me color the fox during a live, a few weeks ago. For both the fox and the owl I used My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid Ink for stamping and Spectrum Noir markers for the coloring.

For the sky I did some ink blending with Distress Inks. I started by blending Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire and Black soot on some Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I then went over the blue and purple areas with Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet to brighten them up a bit. I then used gold, copper and silver Gansai Tambi watercolors to add some stars to my sky.

For the front panel I die cut some cardstock using the Studio Katia Darling Ribbon and Frames dies and the Birthday Balloons dies. I stamped the sentiment using again My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and I started assembling my scene. Before gluing down the fox, I created a little patch of grass using my Spectrum Noir markers, so that the fox would have something to stand on.

As a final embellishment I used the Studio Katia Gold Foil Confetti on the top right and bottom left of my card front, and then mounted everything on a top-folding A2 card base.

I also created a video for this card, you can watch it down below. If you enjoy my tutorials, you can show your support by liking them, leaving me a comment, and sharing them with your friends! And if you want to stay up to date, make sure to subscribe to my channel! You can directly use the button down here 😊

And that's it for today! I really hope you guys liked this card and enjoyed the video! I will be back soon with another fun project, and, in the meantime, I wish you all a great day!

Fall Card with Alcohol Ink Background feat C.C. Designs

Hi everyone! Today I am on the C.C. Designs blog, sharing a super fun card I created with the Funny Pumpkin stamp set.
I started by stamping the pumpkins on some Neenah Solar White cardstock, and I colored them with my Spectrum Noir markers. Once the coloring was done I die cut the images with the coordinating dies

I then used Alcohol Inks in Limeade, Patina and Dandelion Yellow to create my background on a sheet of Yupo paper. I used my blending foams, and swiped them across the paper sheet. This produced some nice stripes on the background.

For the card base, I die cut a frame out of some dark green cardstock using the My Favorite Things
Stitched Collage Frames dies. I also die cut an A2 sized panel from black cardstock using the Heffy Doodle Clover Frames Dies.
I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder, and die cut a banner around it using another die in the Clover Frames set.

I raised the sentiment and the two pumpkins on the bottom right using some foam tape, and mounted everything on an A2 card base.

And that's my card for today! I really hope you guys like it, and I hope I inspired you to create with the great Funny Pumpkins stamp set!
Thank you all so much for stopping by, and have a great day!

Prismacolor on Strathmore Toned Gray Paper - Halloween Card feat C.C. Designs

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a super fun card I created with the C.C. Designs Bat & Spider Stamp set. I really love the style of these illustrations, and I was very excited to finally get a chance to color them in! For this card I decided to use Prismacolor Pencils on Toned Gray paper by Strathmore. I took my time and really enjoyed the coloring process. When I was done coloring I die cut the images with the coordinating dies.
I created a color chart for you in case you would like to use it as a reference.

For the sky background I die cut some more Toned Gray paper to an A2 size and I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides. I used Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot. I heat embossed the cobweb with white embossing powder, and then created the stars with the silver paint in the Gansai Tambi watercolor palette.

For the wall I used again Toned Gray. I used the My Favorite Things Small Brick Wall Stencil and did some ink blending with Distress Oxides in Iced Spruce and Black Soot.
I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and die cut a panel around it using the Ticket die. I used the My Favorite Things Abstract Stencil and Distress Oxide in Black Soot to add interest to it.

I wanted to create some glowy slime dripping from the wall, so I used the Halloween dies and several coats of Glow in the Dark embossing powder by Lawn Fawn, so that it would be nice and dimensional.

And here is how it looks when the lights are out! Spooky! 👀

I assembled everything on a top folding A2 white base, and that finished off my card.
Here's another look at it - I really think this one came out really cool! I love the images and how all the elements play with each other in this spooky scene!

And that's it for today! I really hope you guys liked this card and enjoyed the post.
I will be back soon with another fun project, and, in the meantime, I wish you all a great day!
