Using Spectrum Noir Markers to Add Texture - CAS Card with Create a Smile Stamps

Hello everyone! Today I am back with another card and a process video inspired by the card making challenge over at the CASology blog. The theme for this edition was seasons, so I obviously thought about summer and pulled out this Magic Flowers set by Create a Smile Stamps. I paired it up with the Just Because stamp set, also by Create a Smile Stamps, and challenge myself at creating a clean and simple card. You can watch me create the card and color the sunflower in the video below. In the video I try to describe a bit how to add texture to an image using your markers, and I also explain a bit my choice of theme and stamps for the challenge.
Don't forget to leave a like if you appreciated the video and share your thoughts with me over at my YouTube channel! :)

And as promised here is the list of supplies

Acrylic block by Knorr Prandel
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Neenah Solar White Cardstock (from the Astrobrights collection)

And that's it for today's post! With this card I take part in the current Wednesday challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp blog, as well as in the CASology challenge.
I really hope you guys enjoyed the card and the video, and I hope to be back soon with another one! In the meantime I wish you all a great day! Ciaooo!

Ciao a tutti!

Inchiostro Memento in Tuxedo Black
Cartoncino bisnco Neenah Solar White (dalla collection Astrobrights)
Core'dinations Smooth Premium Cardstock, 65#, colore Black Cat
Nuvo Glitter Drops - White Blizzard
Tagliacarte a ghigliottina Tonic Studios
Marker Spectrum Noir - CT2, CT4, GB6, GB7, GB8, EB3, EB4, DG1, DG2, DG3, BGR1, BGR2, BT1, Blender
Set di timbri Just Because di Create a Smile Stamps

Ciaooo!

Thank you for sharing your coloring techniques on this card. I'm still learning to use my Spectrum markers and this was very helpful!

Thanks for making this video! I loved your tip about using sticky notes; using them also makes it easier to cut out the mask, so thanks for that too! Love your card!

Thanks a lot, Melissa! I find it hard to stick to clean and simple layouts, so I loved joining the fun over at the CASology blog and challenging myself to create this card!
